Traditional South African Biltong, Made Properly
Biltong is more than dried meat. It’s a South African tradition, perfected over generations, and made properly it should be rich, tender, and full of flavour.
At St Marcus Fine Foods, we’ve been producing traditional South African biltong since 1983, using time-honoured methods, quality British beef, and authentic seasoning. Whether you’re looking for lean beef biltong, fattier cuts, or flavoured varieties, this is where you’ll find biltong made the way it’s meant to be.
All of our biltong is prepared in small batches, air-dried slowly, and sliced fresh to order for maximum flavour and texture.

Droewors (Drywors)
The story of our Droewors (Drywors) goes back well over 30 years. Butcher, Emory St. Marcus, realized the longing for home delicacies among the large South African community living in London. So, with a recipe in hand, he set about developing the first authentic range of South African savoury delicacies. By using only the finest meat and an aromatic blend of herbs and spices, he created multi award-winning produce.
What is Droewors? Droewors is an air-dried sausage originating from South Africa. It’s made by seasoning minced beef with spices such as coriander, stuffing it into thin sausage casings, and then air-drying it slowly.
